Services List
To provide technical advice for proper management of existing water bodies in upazilas;
    Provide assistance to the person or organization in formulation and implementation of fisheries projects;
    Collection, preservation and supply of all information related to upazila fisheries;
To take action against licensed recipients / importers / marketing companies under the Fish feed Act '2010 and the Fish feed Rules' 2011 and issuing fish sampling samples and taking action against those who violate the law;
To help registration and renewal of fish hatchery under fish hatchery law '2010 and fish hatchery rules' 2011 and to take legal action against failure of law enforcement
Provide assistance in the supply of fodder and safe fisheries including formalin in fish and shrimp;
To increase the fish production, to celebrate National Fisheries Week, to provide fisheries prizes, to give recognition to other departments and to nominate and participate in various fairs and days;
Supervision of all activities related to fisheries implemented at the upazila level
For effective implementation of Fisheries standard control, in order to prevent the use of unauthorized use of fish and shrimp, to inspire the farmers and to identify the sources of infection, to ensure GAP, Hasap, Hygiene-Sanitation and implement NRCP activities.
Identify fisheries and institutional problems and make the conspiracy of the senior authority to resolve;
To perform the duties described in the project documents of various development projects of the Directorate;
To maintain continuous monitoring during natural disaster, to collect information from the field level and send it to the higher authority.
